This head unit fitting kit includes:
- Fascia adapter panel (50-890)
- Steering wheel control interface with PDC retention (29-CTVX02)
- Vauxhall to ISO plug and play adapter lead (part of 29-CTVX02)
- Universal patch lead for steering control interface (29-CT-025)
- Antenna adapter cable (21-123)
This kit includes a car radio fascia adaptor panel to allow the fitting of an aftermarket double din car radio upgrade. The fascia adaptor allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio.
This fascia kit uses side fixing brackets, the brackets fit directly to the sides of the new radio and the fascia panel. This replaces the need for a fitting cage and gives a flush professional appearance to the installation. An additional pocket can be used for a single din installation.
The fascia is designed to fit Vauxhall Insignia A cars from 2008 to 2013. This fascia is not suitable for cars with the ECO button on the dashboard, a different fascia is required.
NOTE: Some minor modifications to the dashboard behind the radio is required in order to fit the new stereo.
The steering wheel control interface that is in the kit is plug and play. It retains the use of the original audio steering wheel controls and will also provide CANbus ignition, illumination, speed pulse, handbrake and reverse gear outputs.
The steering control interface will also retain the original warning chimes and parking sensor tones.
A universal patch lead is included, this matches the steering wheel control interface to the input on the back of the new stereo.
A Fakra to DIN antenna adapter is included in the kit. This adapts from the original antenna connector in the car, known as a Fakra connector, to a standard aftermarket antenna connection, known as a DIN connector.
