The VIBE R&D team set themselves a mission to rethink the traditional bass reflex or band bass subwoofer topology to create a unique product worthy of the VIBE brand.
In our hunt for low-frequency bass extension and a desire for the smallest possible enclosure size, we have utilised our extensive knowledge of passive radiator technology to maximum effect.
PASSIVE RADIATOR
Additional speaker cone acts as a passive radiator working in phase with driven subwoofer, which produces deeper bass and increased output that would ordinarily be impossible in a compact enclosure.
ULTRA SLIM
BLACKAIRT12S-V6 features an ultra-slim profile, which allows easy fitment in tight spaces, thus ideal for use with pick up trucks.
STEEL MESH GRILL
Steel mesh grille protects the woofer and passive radiator from any potential damage.
SPRING TERMINALS
Spring terminals allow the use of heavy gauge cable, models except BLACKAIRT12S-V6 allow series or parallel wiring of the dual voice coils for maximum flexibility.
