Description
|The NAVAMP also works if the car is fitted with an aftermarket hands-free kit that has a mute harness. It will allow the hands-free kit to use the front speakers for a phone call and divert the navigation audio to the rear speakers.
This interface is universal with ISO connectors, if fitting into a car with different connectors, a SOT lead is required.
It has a universal cigar lighter socket to power the portable navigation device.
The portable navigation device will need to have a 3.5mm socket for audio output.
This interface automatically senses audio from the navigation device, and this triggers the mute relay to cut the audio from the radio.
The NAVAMP can also be modified to retain the audio from original navigation systems in cars that have separate head units and navigation screens when the original head unit is replaced with an aftermarket unit. We recommend this modification is done by a professional car audio engineer.
This is only for cars with standard audio systems, this will not work with amplified audio systems.
