Complete fitting kit to install a double DIN head unit and retain the original steering wheel controls in Ford cars with the original oval shape radio. (not for cars with CD6000 radio ,these need item 29-654-CAN steering control)
This kit includes:
Fascia and cage fitting kit - silver
Antenna adapter
Steering wheel control interface
Universal patch lead
Fascia and fitting cage for double din unit. This fascia kit gives a flush mount install, silver finish.
ISO to DIN antenna adapter
Steering wheel control interface and adapter cable to fit an aftermarket radio upgrade.
The cable adapts from the Quadlock connector in the car to standard aftermarket ISO connectors. This replaces the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable.
The steering wheel control interface is built in to the adapter cable for a plug and play installation. NOTE: Some cars do not have an ignition power supply in the original quadlock, these cars will require an ignition supply to be hardwired.
This interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio. The interface will work the volume, track skip and source buttons.
Patch lead to match the steering control interface to the new head unit.
