You might think you’re a car expert, or you might openly admit that you don’t have the first clue about car. Whatever your stance on cars is, we think we can improve your knowledge a little bit. Because unless you’ve actually drove the car, all you can do is go on the information you read about the figures and features of the car. You’ll never truly know what it feels like to drive the car. So, to help improve your knowledge, we’re going to combine the information about what it is like to drive the car, with the side that you already might know a little bit about, the performance figures and features of the car. No matter what type of car you’re into, we think this will really interest a lot of you! Here are some cars that we think are good all rounders to talk about.

The Mercedes A-Class

The one thing that you need to note about the new Mercedes A-class, is that it has the best interior that the A class has ever offered. Not only is it amazing to look at, with leather material, it has some of the best technology as well. This could possibly be due to the fact that Mercedes have been trying to stay one step ahead of BMW and Audi for a while now. It simply does look futuristic and amazing. But, on the outside, it’s built for finesse and speed. We love the smoother design of the A Class, and we think the engine has a lot to offer. If you want to drive one, you could always go for the car hire option, just to get a feel for it. But from our drive experience, the car is smooth, quick off the mark, and sophisticated to drive. You almost feel like the car is driving itself, and the speed of it only plays to the advantage of the new interior.

The Volkswagen Golf GTI

The Volkswagen GTI is an excellent car to buy. It’s quick, it’s reasonably priced, and it looks really smart for a hatchback sports car. There have been many models of the Volkswagen GTI over the years, but we do feel that the latest one is definitely the best. It looks so high tech in the front, and the engine definitely does deliver a lot of power. It only takes 6.5 seconds to go from 0-60, so you can imagine the torque on diesel models in particular is enough to melt you into your seat. The drive however we will admit can sometimes feel a bit heavy. The steering isn’t the lightest, and the drive doesn’t feel the lightest. But, the amount of power you get out of it will more than make up for that feeling.

The Ford Fiesta ST Ecoboost

To finish off, we might as well talk about something a little more affordable. The ST ecoboost is becoming ever more popular because to put it simply, it’s really quick, and really good on fuel. You get a lot for your money with this car, but we will admit that some of the ST’s have a simple interior, which really doesn’t do the car justice. The drive however is really smooth, the clutch is light as is the steering, and you do get a lot of pull of the mark with this car!
