Description
Amplifier bypass cable for Porsche cars built after 2012 with PCM 3.0 and newer.
Allows you to connect a new aftermarket radio directly to the cars speakers after bypassing the original amplifier which is under the front seat while retaining the original subwoofer and its dedicated amplifier.
After bypassing the amplifier the centre speaker will no longer function.
This bypass cable is 2.5m long which will reach the amplifier under the front seat of the 911 (991), Boxster and Cayman (981). For fitting to The Macan, Cayenne or Panamera, a 2.5m extension cable 10-149/2.5 will be required.
The subwoofer retention will need an RCA connection to the back of the new head unit. One the 911 (991), Boxster and Cayman (981) a 3 meter extension can be used 32-108. On the Macan, Cayenne or Panamera a longer 5 meter extension will be required - 32-109.
Please note that the RCA cables come as pairs, only one side will need to be use for the subwoofer.
