Connect your compatible MP3 player, iPod or mobile phone to Audi cars with an AMI port. Does not work if a non-original head unit has been fitted
Fits Audi cars with AMI (Audi Music Interface) port and one of the following original head units:
MMI2G Navigation (2007 - 2009)
MMI3G Navigation/Symphony Radio (2009 - 2012)
RNS-E Navigation (2010 - 2015)
Concert Radio (2009 - 2015)
MMI3G Basic (2007 - 2011 Audi Q7 without navigation)
MMI3G Basic Plus (2012 - 2016 Audi Q7 without navigation)
MMI3G+ Navigation (2011 onwards)
MMI RMC Radio (2010 onwards)
MIB High (2015 onwards)
MIB Standard (2015 onwards)
Connecting this part will enable the aux mode on the original radio. This is required for many aftermarket Apple Carplay or Android Auto interfaces to work, otherwise, they will not output sound.
