The HAL2 antenna offers combined AM, FM and DAB reception in one single unit.
The aerial comes with a 5m RG174 DAB cable, terminated in a 90 degree SMB(f) connector, suitable for JVC and most other common car DAB units.
For AM/FM connection, the aerial has a 10cm RG174 cable, terminated with an M10 threaded cable connector (sometimes referred to within the car audio industry as a Hirshmann type connector).
If you are connecting the unit to an existing extension cable with a DIN type connector, adaptor PC5-85 may be required. If no existing aerial cable is run to the aerial mounting location, a standard FM aerial extension cable will also be required to run to the head unit, in addition to the PC5-85 aerial adaptor.
