We have the special test and upgrade equipment to keep your hands free kit up to date and if you change your phone, we can install software upgrades or patches if necessary to keep you on the road.
Even if you did not buy your kit from us, we are able to offer an upgrade and patching service for a small charge.
Beware of cheap imitations. Some internet sites may offer enticing prices on Parrot products but be careful, all might not be as it seems, there are a number of American and European products on the market which have no warranty or official Parrot backup. If you have one of these units and you need an upgrade because of newer phone software, I’m afraid you are on your own.
Over the past 18 months Parrot has been working hard to eliminate grey product imports into the UK market to much success. To continue this we encourage all of our customers to be mindful if purchasing product from a non-approved Parrot supplier.
This can all be simply avoided by ensuring that you are consciously aware that all genuine UK destined products are easily identified with a 55 in the part code. Part codes with 55 are exclusive to the UK. Any other code is non UK destined product and not intended for sale in the UK and is thus not supported.
DON’T:
• Be caught short by non-UK destined product
• Be out of pocket in either time or money
DO:
• Check the product for the “Genuine PARROT UK Product…” label
• Check the product serial number includes “55”
• Buy genuine, buy once!
