Ray Smith and his boys will be exhibiting at this year’s Pipe Band day at Hallhill Dunbar and one of their car audio demonstration vehicles will be the Hertz Fiat Panda. This car has been seen at all the enthusiast Car Hi-Fi Sound off shows around the country last year, breaking all SPL (Sound Pressure Level) records and has to be the loudest Panda in the world. Not content with this Hertz have the car in the body-shop right now giving it a facelift paint job and making it even louder with some external speakers being fitted in the front grill. like rally car spot lamps but housing even more speakers.
This unique if completely over the top car demonstrates what is needed to produce so much sound and the power needed from the five 12volt car batteries to produce a total system power 13,920Watts RMS has to be heard to be believed, this thing regularly cracks it own windscreen with the SP wave.
