Panasonic CCTV iP Camera BL-C10

With Panasonic's new network camera, with built in web server, you can view real time images over the internet allowing you to monitor your home or office from a distant location using your PC or even your mobile telephone.

This ultra compact camera only stands the same size as computer speaker but still has the ability to capture a whole room with its pan/tilt control. The lens can be panned (moved horizontally) or tilted (vertically) from a remote location via a PC.

With a built-in Pyroelectric Infrared (PIR) sensor, this unobtrusive camera can detect infrared rays emitted by a heat source such as a person. The camera will send a signal to your PC and with the optional recording software* you can record all the images that are shown on your monitor or screen. The BL-C10 will also send an email to your computer with a captured image attached for you to view when any action is picked up. Another great feature of the Network camera is the colour night view mode where the camera can view images even in low light, switching on automatically when the subject becomes dark; this is helpful for viewing objects or actions in a dark room.

Panasonic's small, lightweight network camera has a web server, control protocol (TCP/UDP) and email protocol (SMTP) built-in. Just plug into an Ethernet network and you can control the camera from a PC using an internet Explorer. Images can be transmitted in real time via the internet without the need for any special software or dedicated PC.

The sophisticated surveillance functions of this network security camera make it ideal for a wide range of applications, such as office buildings, banks and retail outlets as well a personal home security system.
