The new NV-U series Portable Navigation Devices come in a stylish design with a sophisticated and user friendly graphical interface. The 2-way speaker ensures you get crystal clear guidance and the pre-installed map of Great Britain and Ireland comes in 14 languages and covers both border areas and neighbouring major cities on the continent. You can also overwrite the pre-installed map with any of the maps supplied on the extra DVD-ROM. Thanks to the high accuracy positioning provided by the Sony original GPS chip, you always know exactly where you are with your NV-U50!

Both the NV-U70T and NV-U50 personal navigation systems are fully portable so you can transfer them easily from car-to-car, or carry them with you when you are walking. The great thing is you just plug and play your new Sony nav-u and you really can be driving within minutes.

The 3.5” touch-screen interface is so easy to use that you will never need to take your eyes off the road. The icon-based screen is incredibly intuitive to use and allows you to navigate to any address, point of interest or pre-stored favourite location in a few short steps.

Sounds good? But what happens when you run into traffic? Wouldn’t it be great if your driving companion could tell you how to avoid the traffic build-ups before you reach them? NV-U70T and NV-U50* can offer seamless Traffic Message Channel information and dynamic re-routing around heavy traffic. The nav-u does the thinking for you, analysing each traffic message received and always advising you of the best route.

The nav-u products also feature a two-way speaker, ensuring clear voice guidance thanks to a 3.5cm Woofer at the back and Tweeter at the front.

NV-U50 users enjoy wide map coverage within their chosen region with up to five countries and border areas including neighbouring cities on each product. The NV-U70T offers pan European coverage (27 countries with 15 languages, pre-installed or on supplied DVD) that offers you seamless travel between countries even on long journeys.
