KCA-420AInterface to connect a CD Changer, CHM-S630, or CD/MP3 Changer, CHA-S634, to a Mercedes OEM head unit with D2B optical bus.
Possibility to add the MP3 capability to the Mercedes system which the OEM changer doesn’t support.
Cheaper than OEM changer (Between £70 and £200 cheaper than having an OEM changer installed at the car dealership)
For an AUX-IN (RCA or Mini jack) you can connect KCM-122B (RCA) or KCM-123B (3.5mm mini jack) instead of a CD Changer
Interface output is M-Bus
To connect an Ai-NET Changer you need additionally KCA-130B
No ID3-Tag support due to M-Bus protocol
