All VRX amplifiers are provided with ABS (Audison Balanced System) inputs and outputs. These special connectors, patented by Audison Cable, accept balanced input signal, although they are also compatible with traditional, unbalanced RCA plugs. By using BTX2, ABS balanced line transmitter, you can drastically reduce disturbances and get better signal transfer when your head unit doesn?t have balanced outputs. This device has a three step gain control (0dB/+6dB/+12dB) and, when employed with VCRDK, it can act as Master Volume Control, insuring signal transfer maximum quality: from head unit to BTX2, signal is constantly at the highest level allowed by the head unit pre output (maximum S/N ratio); after the volume control that VCRDK carries out together with BTX2, signal quality is preserved by the latter?s balanced line.
