About CAN-Bus

Over recent years we have seen the transition from analogue to CAN-Bus Systems.
Working Alongside a ground and a constant 12volt supply the CAN-Bus supplied information to the head unit
Information such as when to turn off the car stereo when the ignition is turned off, or to dim the radio when the car lights are turned on, are all supplied through CAN-Bus
This information only applies to factory fitted head units.
Connects2 have developed a range of interfaces that transform this digital information into alalogue, so installing after market devices becomes simpe.
This is made possible as the interface fits into the original plug of a head unit so installation time for navigation units or aftermarket head units is drastically reduced due to the plug and play nature of the interface.
The result of this is that you maintain all the original HIFI features of the factory fitted head unit, simply by installing a CAN-Bus interface. The interface generates: Speed Pulse, Ignition, Reverse fear and illumination without installing additional wiring, saving you time and money.
